Maca and Black Goji Berry Tonifying Soup
Maca is a native plant that grows in the Andes mountains of Peru, where it is cultivated at a high altitude of 14,000 ft. It has exploded in popularity in recent years. Powdered maca is easy to incorporate into your diet. It can be added to smoothies, oatmeal, baked goods, tea, soup and more.

Ingredients :
Black Maca 6-8 pcs
Wild Black Goji Berries 2 tsp
Chinese Yam (Huai Shan) 5 pcs
Codonopsis Root (Dang Shen) 4-6 pcs
Lean meat 1.5 lb
Directions :
- Rinse and soak Black Maca in water for 30 mins. Rinse other ingredients.
- Blanch the pork for 5 mins. Drain and rinse.
- Add all ingredients into a pot (except the Black Goji) and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Then simmer for 2 hours in low heat. Add Black Goji last and season to taste. (or Instant Pot High Pressure for 45 mins, natural release). Slice the maca and enjoy!
