Chuan Bei and Dried Sea Coconut Vegan Soup

Chuan Bei is often used in Chinese medicine to treat coughs. It helps to relieve bronchial inflammation and decrease mucus secretion. According to traditional Chinese medicine, Chuan Bei is an effective and versatile herb that both dissolves phlegm and clears heat, while also nourishing and hydrating the lungs. Walnut is also a super source of omega 3. It contains lecithin that supports good brain health.
Nuts in general are good substitutes for meat. Walnuts, cashews and chestnuts provide plant-based proteins which are nutritious meat alternatives for vegans and vegetarians.
Ingredients:
Chuan Bei 0.5 oz
Dried Sea Coconut 0.5 oz
Dried Pear 5 pcs
South Almond 1 tbsp
Dried Candied Dates 2 pcs
Walnut 1 oz
Directions:
- Rinse and soak all ingredients.
- Add all ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Then simmer for 2 hours in low heat.
