Floral Tea Recipe and Health Benefits
Brewing floral tea offers a flowery aroma, a light sweet taste, and a golden infusion. The tea consists purely of floral buds and petals which are caffeine-free. It is so refreshing, with calming qualities and numerous health benefits to elevate your day.
Floral tea is incredibly simple to make, and you don't need any special tools to brew it at home. All you need is a teapot or a teacup and some hot water. A high-quality glass teapot or teacup is preferred as it will allow you to see the tea flowers unfurl.
Keep the temperature in mind when brewing. Flowering teas are made with green tea leaves that become bitter when brewed at high temperatures. If the flower tea uses black or oolong tea leaves, brew with a higher water temperature.
To remove the dust on the surface, all the flower tea has to be prewashed with 80°C hot water (not boiling water) for 3-5 seconds.
