Radix Astragalis (Zheng Bei Qi Pian)

Dried Astragalus (Bei Qi) is a notable supplement of qi/energy. It can nourish lungs and blood, promote urination and detoxification, close sore, engender flesh. Apply to deficiency of vital energy. It can also boost immunity and help relief of internal heat dispersion-thirst.  Bei Qi means “Huang Qi” from the northern China, is considered to have better medicinal value. It is often made into tea and soup in combination with other herbs.
