Sang Ji Sheng and Ba Ji Tian Soup
A Relief of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Shu Zhu ginseng is sweet, slightly bitter and warming in nature. It is a great supplements of the qi (元氣), nourish blood, secures desertion, engenders fluid, and calms mind.
Sang Ji Sheng (Taxilli Herba) 桑寄生 can help dispels wind-damp, support liver and kidney’s health, strengthens sinew and bone.
Ba Ji Tian 巴戟天 invigorates yang, supplements the kidney, strengthens the sinews and bones, relieves the sourness of waist and knees, helps women with infertility due to cold uterus.
Black Dates can nourish blood, stomach and liver, boost immunity and promote restful sleep.
This herbal formula has a complementary effect with Shu Zhu ginseng, which is mild (less potent than Korean Ginseng) and suitable for seniors, women with irregular periods or experiencing menopause. Continue to drink this soup for two weeks for better results.
Ingredients:
Shu Zhu Ginseng - 15g/0.5oz
Sang Ji Sheng - 30g/1oz
Ba Ji Tian - 15g/0.5oz
Black Dates - 6 pcs
Direction:
- Rinse and soak all the dried ingredients.
- Add all ingredients into a pot with 8 cup of water (2000ml/2qt), and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Then simmer for 2.5 hours in low heat. Boiled into two bowls for 2 dosages.
