Regulating Menstruation Herbal Soup (Tiao Jing Tang)
Indications:
Irregular menstruation; Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea); Postpartum abdominal pain due to blood stasis.
Ingredients:
香附 (Xiang Fu) - Cyperus Rhizome - 12 grams
杜仲 (Du Zhong) - Eucommia Bark - 12 grams
青皮 (Qing Pi) - Green Tangerine Peel - 6 grams
烏藥 (Wu Yao) - Lindera Root - 6 grams
肉薑蓉 (Rou Cong Rong) - Cistanche - 6 grams
芍藥 (Shao Yao) - Peony - 6 grams
生地黃 (Sheng Di Huang) - Rehmannia Root - 6 grams
海螵蛸 (Hai Piao Xiao) - Cuttlefish Bone - 6 grams
陳皮 (Chen Pi) - Dried Tangerine Peel - 6 grams
黃芩 (Huang Qin) - Scutellaria Root - 6 grams
小茴香 (Xiao Hui Xiang) - Fennel - 6 grams
川芎 (Chuan Xiong) - Sichuan Lovage Rhizome - 6 grams
延胡索 (Yan Hu Suo) - Corydalis Rhizome - 6 grams
當歸 (Dang Gui) - Dong Quai - 6 grams
Instructions:
- Wash all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Place the ingredients in a pot with an appropriate amount of water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Strain the mixture to remove the dregs and keep the liquid.
- Take the prepared liquid 30 minutes after breakfast and dinner, once a day.
