Honey Locust Seed (Xue Lian Zi)

Also known as saponin rice, honey locust seed it is a wild plant, it contains rich vegetable jelly and is usually cooked with peach resin, white fungus, goji, lotus seeds and red dates.

Peach resins and honey locust seeds have become more popular especially among women. The texture and nutritious value can be comparable to bird's nest and fish maw, yet at affordable prices.
