Dried Hawthorn Berry and Monk Fruit Tea

This 5-minute tea recipe can easily be brewed at home or in the office. It makes a wonderfully relaxing beverage with added health benefits.

Autumn & winter are the seasons of dryness. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we need to adapt to seasonal shifts as they come. During the dry seasons, the diet should emphasize nourishing the lungs and the stomach to hydrate the body. 

An ideal sweetener for diabetics, Monk Fruit relieves internal heat and soothes sore throat. Dried Hawthorn Berry (Shan Zha) can help weight loss and relieve coughs.

Prep Time:

5 minutes

Ingredients:

Monk fruit ¼ pc

Dried hawthorn berry 8 pcs

Directions:

Rinse the ingredients.

Steep in a thermos container with hot water 8.5 fl oz for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
